Rock Music
Who doesn’t love a little rock music? Be that pop rock or rock ‘n roll. The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Nirvana are only a few names in the rock scene. Now for a little history:
This genre originated in the USA during the late 40s and early 50s.
It developed from different genres – from African American musical styles such as gospel, jazz and rhythm & blues.

Who really invented rock ‘n roll?

Well, there were many artists contributing to this type of musical style. To name a few:

Fats Domino
Lloyd Prince
Ike Turner
Ray Charles
Elvis Presley – although he never claimed to have ‘invented’ it. He claimed how much he was inspired by the black gospel music and the blues, which was a part of his life when he was growing up in Tupelo.
Ever ask yourself who came up with all of this?

We love the music. But how many of us are actually interested in the history of rock? How much do we know?

Summing it all up in one article isn’t easy. And let’s face it. Do you really want to read something essay? We didn’t think so.
